Refund and Returns Policy

Courses and events

Our cancellation period for courses is 7 days before the course starting date. If you are unwell or your plans have changed then please let us know at michelle@hausprint.studio at least 7 days before the course. This is so we can decide if we will need to cancel the course and let other students know. We cannot offer you a refund if you cancel less than 7 days before the course starting date.

We may be able to offer you an an alternative future date for the same course (dependent on availability), or ask if you would like to enrol on one of our other courses, using your fee as credit. Otherwise, we will issue you a refund and a credit will be automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 28 days.

If we cancel the course

We keep student numbers low so that everyone has space to work and learn, but this means that if people drop out, we may have to cancel courses at short notice. We make this decision 7 days before the course starting date.

If we have to cancel a course, we may offer you an alternative future date for the same course (dependent on availability), or ask if you would like to enrol on one of our other courses, using your fee as credit. Otherwise, we will issue you a refund and a credit will be automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 28 days.

We keep our event ticket prices extremely low. For this reason event tickets are non-refundable.

Prints and books

We recommend trying to see artwork in person before you decide to buy it, so you really understand what you are purchasing. Be aware that colours and textures will look different on screen, and it can be difficult to imagine the size of a print in real life.

Our refund and returns policy is 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange. As we sell original fine art prints in extremely limited editions, we cannot guarantee that an alternative will be available if you change your mind about your purchase and want to enquire about a different artwork.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

To return an item, you should email us at info@hausprint.studio to let us know, and then mail your item to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Our shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping your item to you will be deducted from your refund.

We recommend always using a trackable delivery service and for more expensive items you may want to consider insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, or that is damaged or incomplete
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If the refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 28 days.

Replacements

We can only replace items if they are defective or damaged, and this is dependant on availability. If you want to replace your print for another in the same edition, send us an email at info@hausprint.studio first so we can check if this is possible. This is because the edition may have sold out.

Late or missing refunds

If you don’t received your refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
